to Instructional Design

Season to Taste: Catering to Diverse Learning Styles

An important aspect of our approach to instructional design is that we ask each participant to complete a learning styles inventory (or mini-inventory if your budget is limited). Next, we identify the preferred learning style for each participant and develop a profile for the group. Our sessions offer a variety of learning activities to ensure that we address a wide range of learning needs, styles and preferences.

We give participants opportunities to select the learning activities that they find most beneficial. In other words, we use a training smorgasbord to "season" each learning experience "to taste".

One of our strengths is our ability to tailor our approach to your organization’s culture and the learning styles of your employees. We’ll look at your company and your requirements with fresh eyes. Then, we’ll convey your content in a creative and user-friendly manner.

Before we design or customize any material, we assess the learning styles and preferences of participants through participant profiles, focus groups or learning styles inventories. Rather than using a cookie cutter approach, we cater to diverse learning styles by building choices and options right into the design.
